We would like to invite you to participate in the 27th ALIM Annual Meeting, to be held at the Sheraton Libertador Hotel in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, during November 8-11, 2009.

The Argentine Milling Industry Federation and Organizing Committee of this key event –gathering Latin American millers and allied trades and services from around the world– is working on a program including conferences, discussion panels, social events, activities for guests and possible tours after the Meeting, which will hopefully satisfy the participants and guests’ expectations.

The Milling Industry –as mother of a wide range of particularly relevant products of the world food– undoubtedly plays a key role in the crisis affecting the world at large. Thus, we cannot disregard the fact that the main topic of the Meeting be "Opportunities for the Milling Industry in the Current International Context".

Among the available options in the city of Buenos Aires we have chosen as venue for this event the Sheraton Libertador Hotel, which provides the right environment for the Meeting activities, exhibitors’ stands and meeting facilities, in addition to being conveniently located near downtown and, therefore, close to the most varied restaurant, shopping and cultural offer in Buenos Aires.

100 rooms have been booked in the Sheraton Libertador Hotel, venue for this Meeting, to allow any potential attendee to plan their stay.
